Biography

Born in 1988, Mr. Normal works from bi-coastal studios in New York (Chelsea) and Miami (Wynwood). His approach fuses mixed media on canvas with a minimalist, conceptual sensibility — reducing complex cultural symbols to essential marks and gestures.

Practice

Mr. Normal’s medium is primarily mixed media on canvas, often incorporating ink, acrylic, graphite, and collage. Recurring motifs — the crown, the hat, the diamond, the flower — are treated as contemporary iconography, repeated and refined across series until each object reads as both ordinary and sacred.

Philosophy

“The ordinary is the new extraordinary.” This guiding idea shapes every canvas. Mr. Normal’s work argues that luxury, meaning, and beauty are not located in scarcity but in attention — in how carefully we look at the everyday.
